Why I Teach: The Art of Creative Learning
My teaching process reflects my learning process.

For me, teaching and creating are inseparable

Both begin with noticing, asking questions, taking action, and then returning to notice again.

It’s a continuous rhythm — curiosity → experiment → reflection → discovery — that shapes everything I make and everything I teach.

When I teach, I’m not trying to pass along finished knowledge.
I’m modeling how to stay in conversation with your own curiosity.
Each class becomes a living studio where we learn how to learn creatively.

"Teaching lets me see the same light that moves through enamel — only this time, it’s moving through people."

Why I Teach
“Teaching is my way of exploring how learning itself can be creative.”

I teach because I believe the creative process is a mirror.
When students learn to trust their own noticing — to look, question, and respond — they begin to see who they are.
That’s where transformation happens.

My goal isn’t to show people how to enamel like me.
It’s to help them experience the same cycle of discovery that keeps me creating:
seeing, choosing, acting, reflecting, remembering — and then beginning again.

When I teach, I’m not standing outside the process; I’m inside it with my students.
Each class is a shared journey through uncertainty toward understanding — a trail we make together as we walk.

Teaching and enameling share the same rhythm: spark, heat, transformation.

Teaching as a Creative Practice
“Teaching is one of my studios.”

Designing a course feels like creating a new enamel.
I begin with a spark of curiosity — What if I taught this concept through a trail? A map? A question? — and then I layer, fire, and refine until something alive appears.

I’m constantly experimenting with new ways to teach — finding structures that make the invisible parts of creativity visible.
That’s why my classes often look different from traditional ones.
They include reflection cards, trails, challenges, and metaphors that help artists feel their process, not just think about it.

This keeps me learning too.
Every student’s insight becomes a spark for the next class.
Teaching, like enameling, asks for attention, patience, and trust in transformation.

Teaching and creating are both acts of transformation.

Each requires trust, attention, and the willingness to begin again.
When I teach, I’m not offering answers — I’m inviting a conversation with curiosity itself.

Every time I teach, I learn. Every time I create, I’m teaching myself how to see again.
That’s the art of creative learning.
