Why I Teach This Way

At one point, I realized:
I didn’t need more techniques.

I needed to know what to do next.

So I changed how I worked.

I started using enamel to:

• explore
• test ideas
• make small decisions

​One step at a time.
That’s what I teach now.

How I Teach

I teach two things:
1. How to use enamel (technique)
2. How to decide what to do with it (thinking)

When you study enameling with me, you will:

• learn techniques
• use them in small studies
• make decisions as you work
• adjust based on what you see

So you can continue on your own.

Use Enamel Like a Language

Enamel is a language made of:

• color
• layers
• light

You don’t need to master everything.
You need enough skill to start using it.

You will:

• practice combining techniques
• explore variations
• begin developing your own way of working

Learn How to Think in Enamel

This is what allows you to keep going.

You will learn how to:

• build work step by step
• notice what is happening
• predict how changes will affect your piece
• turn ideas into something you can try

Build Skill That Becomes Your Own

Technique alone is not enough.

You need three things working together:

• Body skills → control
• Technique → application
• Thinking → decisions

Example:

• Place a wire → technique
• Control the tweezers → body skill
• Notice how it affects the design → thinking
