| I was really inspired this spring after visiting an exhibit of Japanese cloisonne' vessels from the 1880's through the 1920's. This was the pinnacle of artistic and technical excellence for Japanese enameling. I was especially moved by the use of opaque enamels, something I've avoided for many years. I've begun experimenting with some opaque colors and am very excited with all the new possibilities this opens. | |||||||||||||||
